our little water bug

so deuce has turned into quite the little water bug which is a big change from the beginning of the summer when he would barely put his toes in the water

here is jumping in to daddy (he doesn't really need his help he just likes for him to be there)

he soon discovered he could open his eyes under water

i'm thinking maybe next year we might try swimming lessons.

new favorite things

well not much has been goin on here so i decided to post some of our weekend happenings. he loves going to the park near th house and playing cars on the slide which consist of sending lightning mcqueen and king down the slide and him sliding after

the playground isn't super toddler friendly but after a while duece figured out how to walk up

another great thing that he has discovered is "thomas" on the computer...he caught me one day looking for gifts on the website and realized there was videos so now he will run up to us and say "choo choos" and that means he wants to watch it on the computer

he has a book "the little blue truck" that he got from a. linda and u. lary that he loves and wants to read it every night....well now he knows most of the words that go to each page and loves to read the book on his own

he also discovered the shredder and how exciting it is!

this past weekend we went to a birthday party and they had a trampoline and it was his favorite thing

they also had a huge water slide....no he never made it down but he had a blast watching the other kiddos go down

well that's about it from the rakes' and we will keep everyone posted on any baby news...but for now just know that they are growing like crazy and deuce is somewhat aware of them....he raises his shirt and pats his belly and says "mommys babies"
